Recent Veterinary Advances and Successes in Horse Breeding
Australian horse breeders, owners and trainers are being given a rare opportunity to be informed and inspired by Professor William Allen or ‘Twink’ as he is widely and affectionately known; the acclaimed, erudite and often humorous, world authority on equine reproduction, who will deliver his only Australian lecture entitled “Recent Veterinary Advances and Successes in Horse Breeding” at the Customs House in Brisbane on April 22nd at 6.30pm.
As we enter into a new era of equine awareness, the need to strengthen, affirm and challenge our thinking is crucial. Hosted by The University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science we invite you to take this unique opportunity to hear Professor Twink Allen deliver a rare insight into the core of his personal research into equine fertility.
Seating is limited to 250 guests, so please register by calling The University of Queensland Vet School Campaign line on 07 3346 7816 or by emailing vetschoolcampaign@uq.edu.au. Further information is available on the website www.uq.edu.au/vetschool/campaign.
Entry will be by optional donation to The University of Queensland School of Veterinary Science’s planned, new equine hospital and clinic scheduled to open at the Gatton Campus in 2010 and which the Queensland Horse Council proudly supports.
